My story

The Children's Holy Mass has always presented a unique challenge: how do we translate the profound mysteries of our faith into a language that resonates with a child's wonder? In recent years, faith formation has had to evolve, moving toward more creative methods just to keep children engaged in the lesson.

As a priest with many years of ministry, I have witnessed firsthand the immense dedication — and the daily struggles — of our catechists. These volunteers possess a deep, genuine love for educating children, yet they often find themselves searching for extra resources to bridge the gap between a textbook and a child's imagination.

A humble mission

My goal is simple but heartfelt: to extend my parish ministry beyond the walls of my own assignment. I want to offer these materials to any parish seeking ways to bring the Word of God to life for their littlest parishioners. By sharing these resources, I hope to assist catechists everywhere in their mission to form the next generation of the faithful.

Why I created these music videos

I developed these music videos to explain the Sunday Gospels and the holy days of obligation as a way to support the classroom. Not every video is a Gospel. Some were added as further catechetical tools for young hearts: saints, prayers, and lessons a catechist can use when a textbook is not enough. They are not a complete curriculum. I see them as:

  • A creative spark. Melody and pictures catch a child's attention before the lesson even begins.
  • A discussion springboard. Catechists get a shared experience they can use to start a deeper conversation.
  • A support tool. Ready-made songs lighten the load for volunteers who already love the children they teach.
  • More than the Sunday Gospel. Some videos are not a homily at all. They are extra catechetical tools — saints, prayers, and lessons — made for young hearts.
